Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 28, 2026
RIXL is developed and published by Jumblewave.
Information handled by the game
RIXL does not require an account. The game does not ask for your email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, home address, or payment-card details.
When you use Play nearby, you may enter a temporary player name. That name is shared directly with the nearby devices participating in the room. Jumblewave does not operate a server that stores these names or the contents of nearby matches.
Nearby device permissions
Android may require Bluetooth, nearby-device, Wi-Fi, and, on some Android versions or devices, system Location permissions or the system Location switch to discover nearby players. RIXL uses these permissions only to establish device-to-device communication. RIXL does not obtain or store your geographic coordinates.
Crash and diagnostic information
RIXL may process technical crash and diagnostic information needed to identify and fix errors. This can include app version, device model, Android version, crash traces, and technical identifiers supplied by the platform or diagnostic provider.
When remote crash reporting is enabled, RIXL uses Firebase Crashlytics, a Google service. Information handled by Google is governed by Google's privacy policy and the configured Firebase retention settings.
A small diagnostic log may also be stored locally in the app's private storage. It is accessible only to the app, is automatically limited in size, and is removed when the app's data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
Advertising and purchases
The current version of RIXL does not include advertising or in-app purchases. If advertising, analytics, billing, or online-service SDKs are added, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be reviewed and updated before that version is released.
Data retention and deletion
RIXL does not provide user accounts and does not maintain a Jumblewave database of player profiles or nearby matches. Local app data can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. Diagnostic providers may retain technical reports according to their own policies and configured retention periods.
Security
Where data is transmitted by platform services, encrypted connections are used where supported. No system can guarantee absolute security, but Jumblewave aims to collect only the minimum information needed to operate and improve the game.
Children
RIXL is not specifically designed or marketed as a children's app.
Changes
This policy may be updated when RIXL adds or changes features, SDKs, advertising, analytics, billing, or online services. The effective date will be updated when changes are published.
